My name is Roger Davidson and I am a professional Web Designer & Front-end Developer in Chicago, Il
I have been working in the web design field for over 5 years since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Web Design and Multimedia from The Art Institute of Schaumburg. My focus is Front-end Development and design along with a side skill of graphic design.
I have a professional background of client based website building focused mainly using WordPress. Working for a design agency I would build a clients website to client specification by redesigning their site, or by creating their initial site. Builds would include anything from logo creation, website build, responsive website build, mobile website, and email/domain support.
Most recently I have been working as a Web Designer & Front-end Developer for Orbitz World Wide in their Partner Network division. At Orbitz, I stand up travel booking engines for partners using Orbitz’s Neat platform. Neat is a white label template solution for partners to sell hotel, air, car, and vacation packages. A days work includes anything from setting up and customizing a partners booking path, creating custom merchandising pages, graphic design work for Orbitz Partner Network, as well as development to improve the Neat platform.
While at Orbitz I have grown in both my design and development skills as well as helped improve and expand the capabilities of the Neat platform. Throughout 2015 I have worked to create more mobile friendly templates by way of responsive design to help improve conversion and drive more bookings.
